ANNOUNCEMENTS:

ATTENTION ALL CLUB MEMBERS!

Firearm Owner Alert : Original House Bill HD4420 is now replaced by H4139.

The Senate version passed in that chamber weeks ago and has now moved into conference committee to resolve the differences between the House and Senate version.
Here is the Latest information from GOAL
Contact your local state senator and share your concerns about the bill and the lack of public process. Also, share GOAL’s summary with them.

UP-COMING EVENTS:

Boy Scout Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony will be held at the club on Saturday, May 18th (1 – 4 pm)

Junior Conservation Camp - applications for 2024 camp should be submitted now. BSC members who have a qualified youth interested in going to Junior Conservation Camp will be considered for full sponsorship. This is a great opportunity that should not be passed up!






CAPITAL PROJECTS

The Capital Projects Committee has identified three (3) key Capital Projects that will be addressed first. They were passed by a vote of the Members present. These projects are as follows:
• Range roof (includes replacing deteriorated poles and painting the roof)
• Replace / relocate the BBQ pit away from the Club House. COMPLETED.
• Replace the gate lock with a more dependable one.




Range Housekeeping & Tidiness

5 gallon plastic buckets are in place at the range for disposal of your spent brass. Please be responsible and pickup your brass in addition to discarding your paper targets at the end of your day. This would greatly be appreciated, after all this is your Range so lets’ keep it looking nice for all to enjoy.

IMPORTANT RANGE INFORMATION:
Shooting Positions:

Defined shooting positions which are REQUIRED to be adhered to, in order for the updates to the range (in regards to safety) to be realized:
Positions 1-10: <= 25 yards
Positions 11-22:200 yards
Positions 23-44: 50-100 yards
Please adhere to the positions, as the berms are designed to absorb impacts and maximize safety if utilized this way. Not adhering to these requests is a safety violation.
