Annual Election of Club Officers

Two new members were voted into the club membership at the September meeting.
Several openings are available for those interested in joining. Speak with a club member for details.

The Capital Projects Committee has identified three (3) key Capital Projects that will be addressed first. They were passed by a vote of the Members present.
These projects are as follows:
• Range roof (includes replacing deteriorated poles and painting the roof)
• Replace / relocate the BBQ pit away from the Club House. The plans are to increase its size as well.
• Replace the gate lock with a more dependable one.

Any Member that is interested in becoming a BSC Representative to the
Worcester County League of Sportsman’s Club (WCLSC)
please see one of the Club Officers.

Attention members: Gate code remains the same for 2017 at present.

Range Housekeeping & Tidiness

Our Range Officer, Bert DuVernay, has provided 5 gallon plastic buckets at the range for the sole purpose of deposing your spent brass. Please be responsible and pickup your brass in addition to discarding your paper targets at the end of your day. This would greatly be appreciated, after all this is your Range so lets’ keep it looking nice for all to enjoy.







UP-COMING EVENTS:

Youth Pheasant Hunt A special ‘Thank You’ to Janet and Brian Pierce and Mike Wood for their $100 donation each in support of this activity. Scheduled for Saturday, October at 9AM. If interested in participation and helping; contact Chris Duggan (978-895-6521). This year 20-30 Pheasants and some Quail will be released.

IMPORTANT RANGE INFORMATION:
Shooting Positions:

Defined shooting positions which are REQUIRED to be adhered to, in order for the updates to the range (in regards to safety) to be realized:
Positions 1-10: <= 25 yards
Positions 11-22:200 yards
Positions 23-44: 50-100 yards
Please adhere to the positions, as the berms are designed to absorb impacts and maximize safety if utilized this way. Not adhering to these requests is a safety violation.
